The Bereavement Ministry provides bereavement baskets to parishioners who have experienced a recent death of a spouse, child or parent.

Eucharist for the Homebound and Nursing Homes

Extraordinary Ministers visit homes and nursing homes to pray and give Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass. Volunteers are welcome. Please contact the parish office to receive training.

If someone is in need of this ministry, Please contact the praish office so the person can be added to our list.

Funeral Meals

Contact:

The funeral meal ministry provides meals to families of a parishioner who has passed away. Volunteers are needed to prepare food as well as to set up and clean up. For those who would like to help but are unable to do so physically, monetary donations are appreciated to help offset the cost of the meat.

Prayer Shawls provided by the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild

Contact:

Volunteers knit or crochet prayer shawls. Patterns and yarn are available to those willing to help. These shawls are then blessed by the priest, inserted in a bag with a prayer, and given to a member of our parish who is experiencing a long-term or life threatening illness or who has lost a spouse, child or parent.
