Ladies Guild

The Sacred Heart Ladies Guild includes all women of Sacred Heart Parish. There are no dues. Our purpose is to build a caring community. We provide prayer shawls to the sick, bereavement baskets to families, and coordinate funeral meals. For information regarding the Bereavement Ministry, prayer shawls, or funeral meals, please contact Sheria Yancey at 660-909-7933 or mapayanc@gmail.com In addition, the Ladies Guild hosts bake sales to help raise funds for the lift. We also sell religious items. Religious goods sales are generally held around Advent, Christmas, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Meetings are held three times a year (fall, winter, and spring) on the first Monday of the month. A fun activity is included to get to know women in our parish. During the summer, there is a social without a meeting. Announcements for these events are noted in the bulletin.
