The Sacrament of Confirmation

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. Catechism of the Catholic Church 1285

The preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is done as a class during their Sophmore year of high school. The Youth Director/Confirmation Coordinator and Confirmation team, host a parent/candidate meeting at the beginning of each year. You can also set up an appointment with the Coordinator if unable to attend. The Sacrament is received, usually in May, with area parishes. The Sacrament of Confirmation can be done through the RCIA process for those over 18, or through another preparation process.
