The Sacrament of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. Catechism of the Catholic Church 1285

The preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is done as a class during high school. It usually begins in the Freshman year and the Sacrament is received in the Sophomore year with area parishes. The Sacrament of Confirmation can be done through the RCIA Process for adults or through another preparation process.
